JUST RECENTLY PLAYED A GREAT ROUND AT ALIANTE. I THOUGHT IT WAS A GREAT COURSE AND IN GREAT SHAPE EVEN THO THEY HAD JUST TREATED THE GREENS. THE COURSE PLAYED FAIRLY. STRAIGHT HITTERS WILL HAVE A FIELD DAY. IF YOU SLICE OR HOOK YOU WILL NOT ENJOY THE ROCKS ON THE SIDES OF THE FAIRWAYS. BUT THATS GOLF. IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE OF 45.00 (SPECIAL INTERNET PRICE )GOLF COURSES THIS AUGUST 2005 CHOOSE ALIANTE. STAFF WAS GREAT. ALWAYS A PLUS.

The reviewer failed to mention the massive construction efforts that is underway across the entire course. Having to navigate around trucks, over unfinished streets while listening to framing crews hammer away made this a disappointment. One drive that hit 2 feet outside the fairway bounded on rocks finally resting at the treds of a giant back hoe. Given the scope of the construction effort...it looks like it will be years before it is "done".
