Take on Bob Cupp at 28-hole Silverstone Golf Club
Silverstone Golf Club is a Las Vegas golf course that's adding some Sin City sizzle. It's in the process of a revamp that's changing the old, tired desert dirt waste areas to reddish clay sand. The driving range is also getting an overhaul.
Silverstone Golf Club has 28 holes of golf -- three nines and a settle-the-bets 28th hole. Some are pretty memorable, among them the longest hole in all Nevada (that's No. 3 on the Mountain nine, a 653-yard par 5 that doglegs around a lake). Silverstone has four par 5s measuring more than 600 yards, but this Robert Cupp design isn't a pure punisher (unless the Las Vegas winds are blowing). The course plays through housing, but there are also mountains visible in the distance on most holes.
