Cascata Golf Club in Boulder City near Las Vegas: An exclusive desert retreat designed for high rollers
BOULDER CITY, Nev. -- Cascata Golf Club offers stunning golf in a high-end, country-club-for-a-day setting. With green fees in the $500 range, you don't have to worry about crowds at Cascata. No expense was spared in building this $60 million, high-roller retreat, carved from a rocky hillside.
Cascata, which means "waterfall" in Italian, is considered one of the finest designs of architect Rees Jones. As the site of several celebrity events over the years, Cascata provides visitors with the red-carpet treatment from the time they arrive at its stately gates. Inside its grand, Tuscan-style clubhouse sits the bottom of the 418-foot waterfall that drops from above the golf course and practice facilities.
Guests' names are displayed in private lockers, and forecaddies guide groups throughout the experience.
The 7,137-yard, par-72 golf course allows each hole to remain exclusive. In most spots, only the hole in play is visible. Cascata features elevation changes, great variety in its holes, excellent conditioning and, of course, cascading water hazards.
