Check out the brutal Johnny Miller-designed Badlands Golf Club
LAS VEGAS -- Badlands Golf Club can make you feel like your golf game is bad. This 27-hole facility in the Summerlin area about 20 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip is pure target golf. The desert's in play on every hole, the first cut of rough's thick and the greens are faster than a NASCAR driver on the turn.
It's also a fun golf course to play, one seemingly made for golf bets with the buddies. Diablo and Desperado are the original nines in this Johnny Miller/Chi Chi Rodriguez, collaboration, and the 18-hole combo you want to play. The newer Outlaw is easier and not quite as interesting -- and the challenge is the reason you want to play golf at Badlands.
