I played there as often as I could. I even played with a member of the singing group, The Platters one day when the manager brought him out to the first tee and asked if I minded if he joined me. The Platters were performing in Vegas at the time. We had a great round together. I'm not sure but I think his name was Robert. Back then, the course was surrounded by open desert.
I remember the course being short and the shortest hole I believe was a 91yd par 3. I was able to return to Vegas in 2002 and my wife and I stopped at Craig Ranch then but I was saddened by all the development around the course. I am planning on going out to Vegas again in Feb and hope to make it back to Craig Ranch and this time maybe play a round for old times sake.
