Spanish Trail Golf & Country Club features 27 holes designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. The club offers three individual nines that can be played in three different 18-hole combinations. Like many of the designer's golf courses, there are fast, undulating greens on each nine that make accurate approach shots a priority. The Sunrise/Canyon Course is the most challenging of the three golf courses. The Sunrise Course features one of the club's most difficult par-3 holes. Its challenging fifth hole will provide a formidable test for even the most skilled golfers. The layout features open, rolling fairways and water hazards on a few holes. Its signature ninth hole features a scenic waterfall. The Canyon Course is the longest and most challenging nine at the club. It is a classic desert layout with numerous bunkers strategically placed throughout. The last three holes on this golf course are a challenge for even PGA Tour professionals. In addition to the courses, Spanish Trail Golf & Country Club features extensive practice facilities including a driving range, short game practice area, and two practice greens.
