At Siena Golf Club, golf course architects Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley took a flat piece of land and created an interesting and intricate design that has both locals and vacationers running to this Summerlin golf course. More than 90 bunkers will challenge golfers at this run that's known for its great green fees, as well as its popularity with those booking Las Vegas golf packages.

Owned and operated by the Sunrise Colony Co., this upscale, daily-fee course opened in 2000, and is located just 20 minutes from the famed Las Vegas Strip. Siena Golf Club has been honored numerous times, including in 2003, as it was voted the "best value" by readers of Vegas Golfer Magazine.

More than just a value, however, Siena Golf Club gives players a unique round of golf in Las Vegas, as it shies away from the typical desert golf layout to create a run that has a personality all its own. This was unbelievable, we teed off, at 11:55, 3 and half hours later we played 12 holes and it was stacked up so bad, 2 sometimes 3 foursomes stacked per hole, we called it quits after 12, we couldn't finish before dark . No Marshals. Horrible, and not so cheap.

Playing for first time was a pleasure. Golf course is fair yet challenging. was in very nice shape and staff was great. Greens very good at a nice pace. We played 3 courses this trip ( 0 and 3 hdc) and would return to Siena. Think it was a great golf course for the price

outdated unusable equipment and electrical conduit between holes 12 and 15. Dead plants all over the course, salt cedars growing all over the place that consume thousands of gallons of water and are outlawed through out the west. The maintenance in Siena Golf is deplorable.

The Golf course was in OK shape. but my lord there were about a thousand bunnies all over. We got to the course and they didn't even have my name down for the tee time even though when I made the tee time they took my name. The starter lady was very nice, but that's where it stops. When making the turn and trying to get a hot dog, it took 5 minutes to get someones attention, then ordered and stood around for 15 minutes for them to cook them. They didn't have anything ready. Saw the drink cart only once (early in the round) and we teed off at 8:30. At the end the cart staff were practically in our pockets to get a tip. Trying to purchase a logo golf ball, we stood in front of the pro, who was setting up tee times with another man, I assumed he was a member, took 10 minutes. When the member even said something to the pro his response was yea in a minute. Won't go back there again.

Some holes are nice but others are quite ragged. So many weeds it makes it impossible to find your ball. Upkeep fair, I expected it to be a little nicer being on this list.
