On the 10th hole of Paiute Snow Mountain, a tee shot flirting with the left side will reward the player with a shorter approach to the green.

The wind direction will play a big factor in club selection on Paiute Snow Mountain's 14th hole. There is a large bailout on the left side.

The 17th hole at Paiute Snow Mountain is an uphill, right-to-left par 5. Keeping your second shot left will leave you with a better angle into the green.

On the fourth hole at Paiute Snow Mountain, with water right, the left side offers a generous bailout. If the pin is back right, beware of being above the hole.

On Paiute Snow Mountain's eighth hole, golfer's shot must carry the native desert to a green heavily bunkered on the right.

Grass lows left and behind Paiute Snow Mountain's ninth green make for difficult chipping.

Snow Mountain is the original course at Paiute Golf Resort, and may very well be the toughest. Pete Dye's design has golfers of all levels battling it out and hitting up golf packagers to make this part of their Las Vegas golf package.

You'll be playing on a course that is tailor made to its natural setting, but with one exception - the water. It starts with a par 3 to a peninsula green at No. 16, works to a tough par 5 at No. 17 and finishes with a par 4 that seems to wrap itself around a lake as much as dogleg left it at No. 18. It's truly an amazing set of holes that finish of a superb day of golf.
