Las Vegas Golf Club

Las Vegas, Nevada | 18 holes | Traditional | Par: 72 | 6319 yards

Opened in 1945, Las Vegas Golf Club is among the oldest courses in Sin City. It's a player-friendly golf course with spacious fairways and few bunkers that is a must-play round on your next Las Vegas golf outing.

Opened in 1945, the Casey O' Callahan-designed Las Vegas Golf Club is among the oldest golf courses in Sin City. It's a player-friendly municipal golf course and the recipient of a recent $5 million facelift that included several course improvements and a new clubhouse.

Low scores are possible at Las Vegas Golf Club, with only a few trees dotting the open fairways. There also aren't many bunkers on the fairways to trip up duffers, though 30 hazards guard the greens.

Watch out for the second hole, the longest hole on the course at 503 yards. A few trees guard the turn on this slight dogleg par 5, but the fairway is ample, and the green is guarded by a lone bunker to the left.

Las Vegas Golf Club also has two other par 3s to keep players honest and six par 4s, the longest of which is the 438-yard, dogleg left No. 8. It's the golf course's No. 1 handicap hole.

Course advertised NO CART RESTRICTIONS for the weekend we were going to play(Sept.27,2013). The whole golf course was CART PATH ONLY! The joke all day long was, Cart path only WHY! What are they trying to protect. The fairways were terrible. No Overseeding was going to fix them.
I try to pick golf courses that have no cart restrictions because of the heat in Vegas you never know. The only thing the good about the course that day was the weather 80 degrees(perfect). The course SUCKS, burnt greens, weeds on every one of them impossible to putt. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

Course in bad shape. They were out of range balls. Play very slow. Half the golfers walked the course. Terrible.
