Durango Hills Golf Course

Don't be fooled by the length of this golf course. Set among the canvas of the Red Rock Mountains, Durango Hills Golf Course is a well-conditioned, par-58 executive-style golf course on which you can use every golf club in the bag. With four sets of tees, undulating greens and bunkers on every hole, this Lee Schmidt/Brian Curley-design can be enjoyed in less than four hours. Measuring 3,777 yards from the tips, the golf course features three par-4s on the front and one par-4 on the back nine, ranging from 324 yards to 400 yards. The signature hole, the 154-yard, par-3 18th, is guarded by a water hazard on the right and sits among the backdrop of the Snow and Sheep Mountains. This modern facility, which opened in 2002, also offers a full-service golf shop, grill, practice facility and tournament services. Instruction is also available from the experienced teaching staff, including playing lessons.
