A Jay Morrish and David Druzisky design, Dragonridge takes you on a ride as varied as some fairytales. Druzisky likes to say that "the course plays like a storyline."

The front nine features a number of water holes, then the back nine takes into the desert where rugged rocks and dramatic dips and raises reign. It's not the best of both worlds. It's a combination of many.

The back nine brings plenty of risk-reward options into play. There are even two split fairways. A hacker's decision on when to go for it and when to play it safe will have a large impact on his or her score.

Dragonridge is a private course in a gated community, but it's open for play through various packages.

This course is an excellent golf course. Greens are pristine they spin from shots into the green and they roll extremely smooth. Many shots from the tee are psychologically intimidating and make you kick yourself in the butt when you drive into the hitting area. This course will be difficult for the first time player there giving locals a clear advantage.
