Black Mountain Golf & Country Club's Horizon nine, a Bob Baldock design, opened in 1963. This course features open fairways and well bunkered greens. The fourth hole, a 544-yard par 5 with out of bounds left and desert right, places a premium on accuracy from the tee. The green is guarded both right and left by bunkers and a water hazard right of the green requres a strategic second shot. Black Mountain Golf & Country Club's Founders nine is original course, having been built in 1957 by Bob Baldock. It is the course is the third oldest in the Las Vegas Valley and presents many challenges to golfers of all skill levels.
