Walters Golf courses in Las Vegas highlighted by Golf.com's Joe Passov

A recent Golf.com feature story says what many Las Vegas golfers have known all along: Walters Golf’s three courses offer some of the top golf experiences in Sin City.

Joe Passov, Golf.com’s architecture and course rankings editor, praises Vegas icon Billy Walters’ contributions to the Las Vegas golf scene. He starts by highlighting Walters’ Desert Pines Golf Club, which offers a taste of the Carolina Sandhills not far from downtown Vegas.

“It was here that Walters unveiled his formula: Create a hook that gets people talking,” writes Passov, who authored “The Unofficial Guide to Golf Vacations in the Eastern U.S.”

Passov goes on to highlight Walters’ South Pacific-themed Bali Hai Golf Club right on the Strip, and Royal Links Golf Club, featuring 18 of the British Open’s most famous holes.
