Greg Maddux, a familiar name in baseball, recently showed off his skills at another sport he loves, golf. Maddux, a sure-fire bet to make the Hall of Fame, participated in the World Series of Golf held May 11th-14th at the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort. Actor and comedian Ray Romano, well known for “Everybody Loves Raymond” and the “Ice Age” movies, was one of many players who returned to the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort for another shot at winning the World Series of Golf, held May 11th-14th. The tournament saw many familiar faces from last year, including comedians and athletes from other sports. Las Vegas resident Adam Scott will play in the Qatar Masters on the European Tour this week. He’s gunning for his third W in 3 appearances at the event. I just read that photographers snapped pics of Scott with Kate Hudson on a beach in Hawaii when he was there for the Sony Open. That answers the question of why he never calls me when he’s back off the road (ok, almost never). Also in the field at the Quatar Masters, btw will be Ernie Els, Sergio Garcia, Retief Goosen, Paul Casey and Henrik Stenson.
