In this week’s LasVegasGolf.com On The Air podcast, host Dave Berner talks to C.W. Woods, director of golf at Tuscany Golf Club, about the Italian flavor of his golf course.
“It’s kind of a unique setting. Everybody here in Las Vegas has a theme and ours was, you’re kind of playing through an old vineyard,” Woods says.
You’ll find Pinehurst in the desert at Desert Pines Golf Club, according to Jim Anderson, general manager and director of golf at the club.
“We refer to the golf course as the Pinehurst in the desert, or the Pinehurst in Las Vegas, mostly because all the water and the trees out here give it that Carolina look,” Anderson says.
Ross McCullough, director of golf at Silverstone Golf Club, says you’ll find a unique golf experience at Silverstone.
“We have a couple of par 5s that we are known for. The longest par 5 in Nevada is located on our Mountain nine at 675 yards, absolutely gorgeous hole.”
